At the moment my gnoff Christmas beer 2006, the first.

It's not ready until Tuesday next week, but I will compete with it on Sunday next week, so I wanted to know how it was evolving.

Had it been shitty I could change the competing beer up until wednesday :p

No need though, it's very nice :D

At 7%, a deep dark brown color, lots of spices from saffron, clove, peels of Seville orange, cinnamon and also some raissin, honey and light bruwn syrup.

On that, some different hops and the yeast is a Belgian Abbey yeast.

It's a good kick in the face at the moment, it will probably mellow out in a few months ;)

Really nice to imagine sitting inside with a blizzard outside, +25 in but -25 out. Open fire in the fire place, just warming up with the alcohol and being happy :)

Now it's like +4 outside and raining, so not the same feeling :D
