I'm guessing "lager" as in lager beer?

Means it's bottom fermented in cool temperatures and then lagered some time before sold for consumption.
About 90% of all beers sold in the world are probably varieties of lager

yeah, I started out using it, but in the end only went with ratebeer for several reasons.

I hear those who do use it like it though.

it's very tasty for example with a good meat and chips... it's different portuguese beer, with a bit more alchool and specially prepared for meat recipies or some shrimps. it's lovely... but beware... the hangover of this stuff is terrible. a kick in the balls hurts less!
