Why?

The festival has made such a big name, that everyone wants to go! And I know people that pay about AUS$1,600 just to go to Wacken (for their flight that is)

For a small festival Dong is great... I was there last year also so It was almost like a little reunion party The washing situation sucks at Dong though.. no showers and nowhere to wash ur hands ... so on the saturday I went down the hill and into a swimming pools
I wasnt a huge fan of most of the bands this year but... but there were a couple that i liked so all in all was a fun weekend and 1euro beers

I'm having a party in Jan Juc (near Geelong) this weekend with the other Aussies I went to Wacken with last year - we're having a Wacken anniversary party with lots of metal and beer in a shed.

So hold high the Aussie banners (and all that stuff) and make sure that all international metalheads know what metal fanatix we are (who else would pay about $3,000 for 5 days of metal!?).

she always combines it OF COURSE with visiting other parst of Europe or travelling to other german cities.

Hope ur Wacken anniversary party is great! Im sure its not the same as being at Wacken but great that u celebrate it anyway
