The reason that I am going to Wacken is for Sabaton ;) We missed them when they came here and so when I saw that they were playing WoA we decided to go back to Europe to see them - and do another tour around while we are there. I bought my tickets even before they announced most of the other bands ;)

I am a big fan of power metal - I need to be able to understand the lyrics. From the lineup this year I will be trying to see Rammstein (of course) & Alice Cooper (because I am old!) Everyone else I don't really know too much because we have NO heavy metal in Canada. I think I'd probably like Amorphis, Doro, Alestorm, maybe Anthrax too. I think we will be trying to hear most of the bands if we can though probably I won't care for them all it will be fun!

Hi there!
I actually like a few bands from Canada: Anvil, Kataklysm, Voivod, Annihilator, ... but you are right, in power metal Canada is not that strong. Enjoy Wacken!
