Today's my lucky day.

I was on my laptop in the hallway at school since my class was done, but since I was talking to a friend I hadn't talked to in ages, I didn't want to put away my laptop just yet. Well, I was approached by a lady who was conducting a research experiment and said she would probably need someone else to join to get even groups. And it's a paid experiment. So I ended up staying at school longer than intended, but I'm making money.

It was an activity about group behavior and economics. Basically a combination of gambling (with fake money that translated to real money) and strategy involving predicting what the other members would do.

On another note, what is the name for a laundromat in Belgium? I know in German it's "waschsalon" but we will very likely be looking for something once we leave WOA and by then we will be in Belgium.

Depends on the language. I think in Dutch it's called wasserette but no idea in French.
Wassalon is also possible.
