I might be the only person I know who cares, but since I can post anything here, I'm going to. 
Watched the Samsung Galaxy S4 event live stream. First impression: looks impressive, but they went way too far with new features. And they emphasized the (generally cool but largely useless) features rather than the specs. They barely mentioned the 1080p display, and not a single word on the processor. The entire event was basically "you can scroll by tilting the phone up and down, isn't that amazing?"
I mean, I understand that smartphones these days are so great at the basics of surfing the internet, running apps smoothly, and not to mention phone calls and texts, that now the manufactures are starting to feel like they have to add even more features to make it stand out. Which is true. But give us something useful, please.
All the different sensors (compass, barometer, thermometer, and more)? Cool. That translator app (assuming it works as intended)? Cool. New app for chatting? No. Hovering your finger over the screen to do things? No. Recording sound with a picture? No. I'm good. I'll just take a video.
And for the love of Odin, why aren't they calling their cloud based storage the Galaxy?

Like fog, the brightest and most logic of ideas are always hard to spot when you're too close. Next time they need to ask you for your opinion when they are stuck on a crappy one

We've still got a few more days (probably weeks) of summer-like weather before temperatures drop all of 2...maybe 3 degrees

I should start a metal festival here in GA. In Woodstock, GA. I'll call it Woodstock Revived, or something. Just because that'd be epic. Also about 5-10 mins from my house.

I hope I don't continually forget that my friend accidentally on purpose is organising a small music festival with camping on the same weekend as my birthday for the whole weekend If it means I don't have to organise a single thing then it can totally be my birthday weekend
