I don't think so. Maybe if you're a single parent with a kid who has some medical condition that requires expensive treatments. Or something along those lines. Otherwise? No. I could live on min wage with a full time job if I had to (on my own, I mean). And I wouldn't have to give up anything either - I could still go to shows occasionally, still have a smartphone plan, still have internet. Could probably still save up for Europe vacations too.
I'm frugal naturally, but other people could do just fine if they didn't eat out every day. Or insist on a huge TV and premium TV channels. And so on.

Well, to live on my own, (with TV, cable (otherwise nothing at all here), a car (and driver
), 3 kids, one of whom has above mentioned treatment etc., insurance stuff (compulsory health care, personal responsability insurance (a rough translation, I know), etc.), rent/mortgage, the cost of living etc.) here, you need at least 2 FULL TIME incomes to be able to "properly" live, without giving up some trips! (I tend not to go on vacation anyways, I'm mostly bored, or "locked up", as I can't go anywhere alone)Not to mention to forget that not only do I have a son that's handicapped, me, myself and I also do have this condition of being handicapped!
But that might also be due to the fact I live in Europe, instead of the US. Who knows.

Had a nap. I'm really not good at taking naps, because even though I know you shouldn't have one for longer than half an hour or else you'll probably not be able to fall asleep on time, I do anyway. But I was tired as crap (and yes, I ended up napping for about two hours. )
