No, I was afraid of that! :ugly:
I feel like I'm going to have the flu... :(
:(

Beterschap!
I got a message from my telephone company during today's meeting, so I promptly put my phone on silent. When I got out of there I noticed 2 missed calls from a New South Wales number that I didn't recognise, and the most bizarre missed call text message I've ever read. I had to get rid of the message because I ran out of room in my inbox. Don't feel like calling them back to say "wrong number" :o

Had the same this morning. (notice the language barrier between me and the rest here (in French))

(in English: )
Good day, is this (xxxxxxx) on the phone?
(in Dutch)
Wie? (in French the same sound however means yes!)
(English)
I'm talking about (yyyyy)
Er, I think you dialed the wrong number! :o

It baffles me how people get my number mixed up; I've had it for well over 7 years now :o

I suppose...the missed call did come from a landline this time. I'm pretty sure I've had a guy calling from a mobile looking for a "Zane" or something more than once on my number :p

Last time someone accidently called me on my cell was from German speaking Belgium. (87) But otherwise it's always people who try to sell me stuff. And I never understand them, how bizar! :ugly:

I had somebody call my number multiple times about some sort of meetings or who knows what (they left voicemail, I never answered). Took them a good couple months before they figured out I wasn't who they wanted to call. :p

In other news, I don't understand people.

Random comment on my friend's FB status schrieb:
I worked 15 hours yesterday, now im going to my other job, which im late for because my alarm clock is an asshole. And getting bitched out. I wanna say so bad, "how about you work 83 hours a week, 2 jobs, and the only free time you have is spent on sleep.

How is it the company's fault that you've overscheduled yourself? If you're late for work, that hurts the company you're working for. If you can't handle having so many hours at both jobs, that's something you need to think about.

Logic is practically an endangered species.

"I'd like to return this phone. It doesn't do anything right. I want to exchange it for another one and keep my time and phone number from this one. I called and they said you can do that."
So I check it out and make sure it's the phone on the receipt, that she's within the time frame for returns, etc. Then I go and get her a new one and start ringing it up.
"Okay, so what I'll do is ring up this one, and then transfer the number over. If I returned your phone before I changed it, you'll lose your number and your time."
"Okay'
I ring it up and tell her the total.
"What? I owe you $x?"
"Just for now. You'll get the money back immediately once I return the other one, but like I said, I can't do that yet or you'll lose your stuff."
"But they said I could do that on the phone."
"You can. But you still have to purchase this first."
"Fine, I'll just keep this one."

Not our fault whoever she called assumed she had $70 to spare that she'd get right back...

That used to be a safe assumption though in the current economy may not be true for everyone anymore :(

I've had people text me because someone gave them my number in a bar in order to avoid giving them theirs lol It's pretty hard trying to convince someone that you are not the person from the bar over texts lol
