I just use the US International keyboard. I don't need alt çodes to do thïs or thät ör änÿthíñg élsè älóñg thësé lïñès.

I've been usiing it as standard keyboard.

You just have to remember that you have to do 2 spaces if you want a ' or ". (before a vowel/c)

Is it obvious I don't ever have to write another language?

Yep. I do it out of habit my now, though. Hardly notice it.

You can adapt that too. But it depends whose computer it is of course.
