Plane ticket prices are sometimes really interesting. Helsinki-Hamburg-Helsinki for example is always cheaper than Hamburg-Helsinki-Hamburg. I find it really odd but I guess they have their reasons.
With Paris we just figure it's because they like to 'trap' the tourists there. Not too many people would look around to see if they can fly out somewhere else for a lot less. I won't fly IN/OUT of Germany..It's crazy $$$.

I could get some really cheap flights to Germany too just not to Hamburg. I guess I could go to Berlin and take a train from there but it's not that cheap either so I think it's not really worth the time when I just want to get there. Would be different if I would go somewhere for longer period of time like you will do when you come to Europe.
