On another note what is it with people who can't call me by my right name?? So annoying. They just 'assume' that I have shortened it from a 'common' longer version. This might be the case for a lot of people but it is not for me. It's the height of disrespect in my eyes.. If I say "my name is Pat" then why call me "Patricia"..

I still die a little inside everyone time someone calls me Alexandra. I've learnt to stop myself from getting too annoyed when people ask "is it short for something?" It does still irritate me a little bit when people go "ooooh that's a nice/cool/different/unusual name." It's like urgh just shut up and let me on the plane

Yea, it adds up fast. Especially since the flight doesn't help things, for me either. But personally I go on a super-budget so I was in Europe for 6 weeks my first time and didn't even spend 3K, including everything.

3k will give me a couple hundred left to spend after the return flight
