Well there's that. But the following phrases have been said to me at some point:
"I can teach you German and you can help me with my English "
"Argh...learn German"
"The next time you visit I want you speaking fluent German ok? "

I noticed ones again that after few days of listening german my brains are changing to different mode and I start adding some german words to english while I'm thinking. And forgetting finnish complitely (I guess that's kind of the main thing, not hearing my forst language at all). So definitely best way to learn would be living there.

Ah yes, switching between trying to figure out Italian and then German was a massive mind-fuck
