But I was really looking forward to 3am pancakes etc. :( But I was pretty much not allowed to pay for any drinks so I suppose it all worked out :D

I had absolutely no intension of going back this year no matter what (since every 2 years I'd have enough holidays to go), but then when I saw my favourite band at age 12 was on the bill, I got super cranky. When Rammstein was announced I raced for my debit card in a fit of mania and bought a ticket in time before it sold out. Now I'm at that stage where I'm excited but I don't know what to do next :ugly:

For me it's no problem to get there so I just bought the ticket. For you it's a bit (a lot) different :ugly:

I don't think I will get anything done today except coming back here :D

It was actually quite interesting to travel back home.

Bus from Fockbek to Rendsburg
Train from Rendsburg to Neumünster
Bus from Neumünster to Hamburg Airport
Plane from Hamburg Airport to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
Bus from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Helsinki

7,5 hours :)

Sort of sounds like my trip between Bloodstock and Summer Breeze but less hectic :ugly:

The rest of my family were intending to head to Europe and of course the countries of choice: Italy and UK. I'm pretty much obligated to visit the relatives (not that I don't love doing so), but there goes 2 weeks already, then WOA, then I only have 1 week of annual leave plus 5 days of overtime in lieu. There's also a public holiday somewhere in there so here's the bit where I have to decide what days to take, or to just have time off with no pay. Decisions decisions...

I noticed ones again that after few days of listening german my brains are changing to different mode and I start adding some german words to english while I'm thinking. And forgetting finnish complitely (I guess that's kind of the main thing, not hearing my forst language at all). So definitely best way to learn would be living there. :)
