Not to say that that's nothing - it can definitely get pretty bad. But it's always going to be way worse on the coast.

Yes, and the gerograph is diffewrent than in Europe. Here it is more detailed: sea and mountains close together, etc.

One of my Facebook friends is posting about his adventures giving out candy. Apparently he's got black metal turned on really loud and it's completely freaking out kids.

I remember summer 2007. There was so much rain in 2 hours as normally in 1 month. I was lucky staying at my parents....otherwise the firefighters had to rescue me by boat from the highway. When I drove to my home the next day I didn't know about the last night. I just wondered as the traffic messages told that the highway I drove on should have been closed.
That was all imaginable....in this night roads had been rivers But I saw with my own eyes that that must have been. Many parts of the neighbor town were still flooded

A couple years ago, there were floods here too. Massive ones. They actually shut down the college I go to for awhile. My house is on a hill so we were alright, but not everyone was that lucky. Or well, I should say my family was alright. I was out of state at the time. Still, it's crazy to see pictures of places you know underwater.
