well if there is a shuttlebus going straight from the airport to wacken, than why the hell would you do the whole annoying train thing where you're packed with hundreds of others in small trains?

Bingo, and even more importantly, although the train + bus from Itzehoe option might be cheaper (I don't know), simply getting on a bus and being delivered straight to WOA (and back) is worth the money. Makes things a lot simpler and smoother. And I can live with the traffic jam risk.

Be glad you didn't go through the annoyance of having to book the Metal Train - It's very cool I'm sure but the hassle I had to go through to get tickets from Canada isn't something I would wish on anyone. It better be worth it

Because in order to buy anything in Germany it seems you have to do a bank transfer. Sounds easy enough but unfortunately the information they give you isn't enough and then they neglect to tell you about fees. It was a very big pain in the ass.. I had a thread about it Here It was NOT good times!

Yuck... You'd have been better off transferring money to someone in Germany via Bitcoin or some other alternative means of payment, and having them do the bank transfer for you. Would have been both cheaper and easier.

In other news, my PC-N64 adapter arrived today. Been lots of fun playing Super Smash Bros and soon-to-be-others with the actual controller. Even though my stick is beat to crap so I have to use the pad instead.
