I like lyrics that mean something ie. tell a story or about an event or things like that but not too many bands manage that anymore these days.

I don't really care. It's a plus when I like the lyrics, but it doesn't change whether or not I like a song.

In any case, I much prefer lyrics about death and gore to the crap that's on the radio. 99% love songs, breakup songs, etc. Or worse, rap/hiphop lyrics.
