Why not combine both? If you use energy, you'll loose weight as well, and if you start having a decent balanced food regime, it might give an extra boost!
The problem that I have seen from watching what other ladies are doing is that when they start lifting the weight loss stops and instead normally things just shift around. The scale no longer moves BUT because muscle is denser than fat it will take up less room and thus even if the scale does not move the inches will shift and shrink and so I 'should' look smaller. I am just trying to decide If I can deal with the number not going down - and possibly even going up due to water retention while my muscles are repairing themselves. I just need to motivate myself LOL - I'm such a lazy ass when I get home.
I'm not at all worried about the food regime - I've lost 50 lbs in the past 8 months with only watching what I eat so I have that part all figured out


I lived in Calgary and Edmonton (in Alberta) for about 30 years. I much preferred the dry air to the humid air and TONS of snow that we get on this side of the country (Ontario/Quebec)
