50K Before Wacken 2012

I've been in an airplane that got struck by lightning. It was fun. Some people freaked out, but absolutely nothing happened, nothing went wrong in the slightest. Planes are built to take it.

Inside Europe it's quite easy to travel without flying too, I guess. For me driving isn't an option because i have no license and also Finland is far away from everything (well not so far but still).

Got the same problem. No license either, and so all by public transportation.
But I've got the luck of being in the 'center' of Europe. And not somewhere in the end far away. But nevertheless, it takes 9hrs to get me from Charleori Sud (railway station) to Hamburg Hbf/Altona (station).

Not to mention 68hrs to get to Helsinki.

Not to mention 68hrs to get to Helsinki.

Only takes 2 hour to fly from Helsinki to Hamburg. Guess why I'm flying

I went from a festival near Wacken to Göteborg in Sweden by car (and ferry) once. Took pretty much all day.

From Helsinki it takes even more. I will spend 6 nights on my trip so it would have been possible but I rather fly and have have few days to recover before I fly back

I will use week from my vacation in Germany when I go to Wacken and that is all I can use for festivals etc. except in Finland. So no, I won't come

Won't be able to afford a Europe trip for awhile, unfortunately. First priority is school, then moving out, and one other thing (some people know what this is), and then I can finally start saving for travel.

But once I get that far, if everything works out, I'm touring the world. One part at a time. First stop = Europe, for 3 full months.

There'll also be a North America RV tour, South America, Asia, Australia/NZ, and I'm not sure whether to put Antarctica with South America or Aussieland.

I know for sure you can do tours to Antarctica from South America. My aunty and uncle did that trip a couple of years back.

You know it would take half that amount of time going to Wacken from my place using only public transport. If I recall correctly that would also include arriving early to check in and waiting around for hours to catch the next connecting flight.
