Btw. finished page 5 now. I can't believe I've been postponing this paper for so long, it's kinda easy to write... -.-

If I had done that way earlier, I could have a great time now that the weather is nice and I could have enjoyed the stuff I did instead way more without bad conscience... Why do I never, ever learn? :p

I didn't get myself to work the days before because my rhythm was totally screwed up and I can't start working in the middle of the night. When I finally got my rhythm back, my friends started harrassing me about going outside because of the awesome weather we had the past 3 days or something...

Best time to get stuff done is when you really really have to. At least I'm often like that but I know some are different :)

Cheers for the tip. I could handle cleaning myself with baby wipes for 4 days but I couldn't handle not washing my hair for that long. When I got back to my hotel in Hamburg I was in the shower for literally an hour.

I'm mainly worried about my hair too but I guess if I have to I'll just use ponytail or braid or something. :D

I am so packing dry shampoo this year. I'd never even heard of the stuff until I went to Bloodstock. By the end of the festival I forgot for a few minutes that I hadn't bathed in 4 days. It was the mud all over my clothes that gave it away :p

My kids told me to get dry shampoo but does it really work? (and answer was there already so forget this) :p

The pronounciation isn't really what's stopping a person from learning a language well, the use of Dutch is still very familiar to me even if I can't ask for an onion without people looking at me weirdly ;)
That's true.

Some here can't believe me when I say I have bad games. But then I remember the pronounciation. It's slightly different for eyes, as for games. (yeux - jeux)

Same for fish / poison. (poisson - poison)

Inconciously you're continuing your work, and then one day... FLOEP, it works all at once!

The structure of a language weights way more than vocab when learning it :)

At least for me it is in a way easier to learn german using english as a base than using finnish as a base. English and german are more similar than finnish and german. And half of the time I think in (bad) english so why bother trying to learn finnish - german when I can try to learn english - german. :)

Possibly. Problem is that today it needs to work all at once because I want to hand it in tomorrow and I got no time to continue writing tomorrow

I still think it would be nice to be able to speak any other language with some form of fluency :( My father and his mother argued until the day she died about whose responsibility it was to teach my brother and me Italian. It was only when I went to Italy that I realised neither were particularly fit for the job :p

My Japanese teacher in primary school wasted too much time teaching religion so we learnt fuck-all. My Japanese teacher in high school was actually Japanese but it was only half a year of classes half a lifetime ago so I don't recall very much. Same for French.
