I thought I already had 8 pages of my paper but it's hardly even 6 of which two are the cover and the index :( I guess I'll really need to start working on it now since I wanted to have sent it in by tomorrow

Nope, I haven't got the slightest idea. As I said, all the residents in Wacken sell stuff during the festival. Some sell beers, some food, others showers.

A temporary fence separated their back yard from Camp A. At 7am they'd start selling tea/coffee/snacks and played the same Metallica album every morning except for Sunday :p I've got a picture of it on Facebook.

And what's this selling of showers you speak of? Is it different to the communal showers that I refused to use?

I didn't get myself to work the days before because my rhythm was totally screwed up and I can't start working in the middle of the night. When I finally got my rhythm back, my friends started harrassing me about going outside because of the awesome weather we had the past 3 days or something...

Yea, they'll offer you to shower in their house for roughly 2 euros. At least some do. Just look at the signs they put up on their houses or in their yards

Cheers for the tip. I could handle cleaning myself with baby wipes for 4 days but I couldn't handle not washing my hair for that long. When I got back to my hotel in Hamburg I was in the shower for literally an hour.

I bet the jokes make more sense now :p
Not at all, they had a pretty good translation of it in German, I actually think the joke is stronger in German :p They knew how to do a good humorous translation back then... you can also see that with the Leslie Nielsen, Bud Spencer, Hot shots and other simliar movies :)

Anyway, today I got up at a decent time, let the weather in by opening the window, I even have some nice popsicles, so let's get to work :)

I am so packing dry shampoo this year. I'd never even heard of the stuff until I went to Bloodstock. By the end of the festival I forgot for a few minutes that I hadn't bathed in 4 days. It was the mud all over my clothes that gave it away :p

:D So you've used it? Is it really like actually washing your hair?

I've heard of it but it's hard to believe it works as well as it sounds.

Yeah I first borrowed some at the festival, then I finally found a shop that supplies it near my place. It's pretty much compressed starch (usually rice) and fragrance in a can, so it's not quite like washing your hair, but the starch absorbs excess oils so your hair feels less shitty. You spray it in your hair, massage the hair/scalp a bit then you brush it out after a few minutes.

Interesting. Might as well try it next time I'm in Europe.
