Incorrect: 3 months long service leave is what we get for putting a bunch of criminals on an island :D After working the land for 10 years they had the option of staying or going back home on a ship (which took three months, once they figured out the right way back). The proposal was too good to simply nullify so we still have it today :D

Does anyone want another history lesson? :p
