Oh, and my boss would comment to me about the length of my hair as well. It was very long then. But the length of someone's hair does not make them "Metal". I just like my hair long. I have met many long haired guys who are not into metal at all.

I had my hair cut in the past too. Only because I wanted a change I let it grow now again... for the same reason I guess. Anyways, for a girl long hair is not really a necessary "metal- assesoir". At least not as for guys.
I mostly wear black stuff still, but that's it. And I actually have a coat, but I don't always wear it... still coats are kickass and boots of course (boots are my favourites).

But me as a girl I have always the problem to be considered being a goth. For the ignorant world outside there is no such as female metalheads. Black wearing women are goths (though I don't even use any make up)

That's true about the Goth thing. Even many goths are just trendies, making a fashion statement. I usually wear black, mainly black shirts and black shorts. I also normally wear jeans, I dress for comfort. It's warm and humid here so we wear shorts often, and comfortable shoes. Boots are cool but usually too hot here. Short hair is really more comfortable and practical here.

i got some reggae wanabes here in england, white people thinking they are rastas
I dont mind reggae though, abit of bob marley is pretty cool now and again
I am thankful that my girlfriend loves long hair then
although she doesnt like it too long, whereas i do

Yes, I dress for comfort too... mostly some black trousers (too cold for shorts) and wide shirts... I also like very much my denim jacket. My mum hates it, because it's total rags by now

The reggea guys over here have mostly dread-locks... if you meat someone with normal long hair, it's most likely a metalhead.

Well I do like a small amount of Marley, the only Reggae I ever thought sounded any good. Some do have Dreads, and some of them are white guys and girls. I am not putting reggae fans down as a whole but many of them here are fools. Complete idiots who act like jackasses. Again I am not saying that reggae fans elswhere are like that or that even all of them here are, but some are like that, many are.

yeah same over here, reggae guys usually have dreadlocks, and most long haired guys like metal

im planning to get a denim jacket soon, got afew patches i bought yesterday, i was very surprised when i saw a big Ensiferum backpatch in the middle of the street at a stall
i instantly got that
then got some smaller ones like Kreator, Hammerfall, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin

Actually, it's the hip hop fans here that are the most anoying, some of them trying to look "gangster" driving around blasting that bass heavy nonsense shaking everyone elses car at a stop light. It jsut sounds like shit!
