I think even if I did believe in Jesus and it being his birthday it would still be strange to spend thousands of dollars each year to get stuff for ppl just because "you have to"

I buy present for ppl now and then when I find something nice or perfect, but doesn't really matter if it's close to a holiday or not when I give it to them
