2 months later and i still can't decide if i like "The Apostasy" or "Ithyphallic" better.
Of course, they are very different albums. Ithyphallic is closer to traditional death metal, but the production is absolutely AMAZING. The speed is just retardedly fast at times, and the guitar work is so original. The slow songs like "eat of the dead" are awesome, and it's not something that nile has done very much of before. It's not incredibly creative, it sounds like another nile album. There is a lack of solos though =/ and the ones that are there aren't that great.
The apostasy....behemoth at their best. Completely crushing...creativity is at a maximum. Inferno's drumwork just pounds everything into dust. Lots of great melodic leads and solos, and all the songs are very different. Overall brutal as fucking hell. Vocals rock ass too and it's good to see a return to the older style rather than the layered Demigod sound. I love this CD.

Right after i got ithyphallic 2 months ago, i spilled beer on the booklet. It's completely ruined, i tried to fix it but the pages had become completely stuck together, and i threw it away.

What's the biggest problem?

Mostly:
-Deciding how much time to spend in each place.
-Deciding if I want to try and camp in some places, or get hostels.
-What route to take that would be most cost-efficient and time-efficient.
-Being as cheap as possible
I have roughly 3 weeks, and am going after Wacken, to try and avoid the major tourist rush.
I plan on being out in nature a lot, and want to visit grim forests, awesome fjords, and mountains of might.
