maybe now since I'm already messing with my mp3, I'll go find all the albums I used to listen to before I liked metal, and still kinda like

although I can't rip them right now, as the CD ripper on this computer is screwed up
I always have to use my mom's computer when I want to rip, and then transfer the songs to this computer.

usually isn't a problem though, since they're mixed in with my mp3, and I always have it on shuffle.

I've got a few songs that remind me of a certain person, mostly since he gave them to me, and when I listen to them I usually just focus on the song and push him out of my mind

to me that is more the other way around, if I had enough of metal I am gonna listen to something else.
Or if I just want some peacefull music instead of Kill, Fuck, Die etc

like with Tanzwut for instance, I had that on my pc, and put it on an MP3 compilation for the trip to Wacken. But I never really listened to it. So when it came up, we were like: what is this? this sounds nice! and we made up the funniest (or stupidest, but funny) "tanz wut" moves ever

well I like to listen to a lot of ballads from metal artists... Opeth, Avantasia, etc.
I'll listen to those when I feel like softer music, like when I'm going to bed, or if I'm just in the mood
