I got this article this morning.
A thief stole a laptop from a woman in Amsterdam. She went looking for it on the Internet, and found it on some 2nd hand selling site (e.g. eBay)
She pretended to be interested, and made a rendez-vous somewhere in Amsterdam. But instead of the woman, 2 policemen showed up, and aprehended the thief. After a search at his house, police found also jewelery which was (of course) confiscated.
Stupid people. (unfortunately the news was/is not available in English)
