I don't even have to try to dance in order to look "wrong". You haven't seen me on stage with Victims of Madness, have you? I look like I was dead on all the pictures and the short movies Tomatentöter made. (So you actually ought to like it. For that very reason.) And that's not because of the new situation with that band; it's the same on any other occasion when I have to sing etc.

Well, the whole gig was very...confusing. The sound on stage was horrible and that made things very difficult for me. So many things went wrong.......

what kind of music?

well by now it's only the intro riffing, but it's definitely sounding like metal (no idea what kind of metal...I could make anything out of it). What I write usually ranges from pop to folk to metal. Although I'm not very good at writing metal songs yet.

yeah we had a gig recently without any monitors!! I couldn't even hear the drums! the timing was all guess work

and I could hear the drums only...not even a single little trace of the guitars or something like that...........the problem is that I had to rely on the guitar solo to know when to start singing again.....and that's why I sang only about half of the song

well.....I was told that nobody in the audience did hear me anyway. I wasn't loud enough.....or whatsofuckingever....

Judas Priest - Hell Bent for Leather.
You might be able to hear a bit of it on the vom1.mov file.

some backing vocals on DAD - Sleeping my Day Away...that was quite OK

and then I sang a part of a song that we wrote ourselves - called Victims of Madness like the band - or I tried to sing it. We had to make a longer break before my part would have started because nobody could hear anything and one of the guitarists didn't know what to play any more (another solo that I could not hear - I still don't know if he played it or not.)....see vom2.mov. Note my hand reaching out for the beer can at the very end of the file.

vom3.mov is me singing my stanza of this song........we started directly at the point where I have to start singing, but only one of the guitarists got that right in that moment. Well, somehow I seem to have been wrong as well. At least something sounds wrong at the end of the file. No idea.

Very chaotic.....interesting experience, but somehow.........I have ambivalent feelings about it.
