i'm more of science fiction fan myself (HUGE Asimov fan), although I do like Raymond E. Feist...

but yeah, it's all just escape, isn't it? at least it's the healthy non-drug escape

I know Asimov but haven't read his stuff yet.

yeah, things always get in the way.

I just realized that I'd only have time for things like that in August and September......and August is full of festivals and www.sommeroperette.de next year..... i.e. I won't have any time in August and as I'm planning to go to at least four festivals next year I doubt I would have the money...............OK, I get some money at the Sommeroperette. among the English books

and in German I've already found "Der Lehrling des Magiers".....but not "Der Magier" or whatever it may be called...

never heard of that band.......
the problem is not the weeks I'd miss - it's more that after these exams I'm starting a completely new part of my studies.......new subjects, some new professors, new rules to everything. Not the ideal time for.....for running away for some weeks.
