Traditionally herre we have Christas Eve-the night the presents are opened. Then early the next morning on Christmas Day the children will run down to see what Santa Claus left them under the tree and many families will then have Christmas dinner. For those celebrating Kwanzaa there are 7 days, Hanukah there are eight. Not being of either faith I do not have the particulars on the ceremonies. In Wicca (what I celebrate) there is Yule. Not a big to do thing for me but I try to do something to benefit the wild animals and nature in general. (i.e. leaving a special meal out for the wild birds is about all I can do in my suburb here) I tend to celebrate both Christmas (with family) and Yule.

Never heard of Kwanzaa, Hanukah and Yule
where is that from?
