Exactly. And because of this, in any case, regardless of the age, the patient (and his spouse, if any) signs a paper that "I won't have any claims whatsoever, if I change my mind", or something like that.

I'd have no problem with that. If I had one, even illigetimately, my mother will practically have an excuse to call me whenever she damn well feels like it. I basically 'trained' her into only calling if there is anything urgent :p

That seems unneccesary I think ;)

If I go to a place and say:
I donät want any kids ever, please make it so.
I find it hard to come back and complain because they did their job :D

Now if I did get a kid after the surgery, THEN I'd complain like hell :p

Sorry, but I don't quite see the connection here - you mean, if you had a kid? Or what?

Well, I guess, this is just a sorta way out for the doc, for the case if some guy does change his mind (might be, you never know - and we're living in a lawsuit-happy world, nicht wahr?) ;)

Indeed.... and have the doc, who botched the op, pay for the kid until said kid turns 18. :D That would be fair :p

yes :D

If I did have a surgery that's supposed to guarantee me not having kids, and I get one, I woudn't like it ;)

I know condoms, birth control pills and all that is never 100% safe, but snipping off the stuff in a vasectomy should be as I understand it :D

I read of a couple occasions when it "miraculously grew back", after a few years (!!!), but these are of course exceptions, not the rule.

Lucky. I burn after 15 minutes during summer, and spring and fall, but only if it's particularly sunny

I'm about 25 minutes, but it's easy to protect yourself with longsleave, cap and such :)

And it's not real summer yet, still only spring, so the sun is not very bad.

When going to Prague in 2 weeks it's sun block time though.
