But yes, Crematory and Hammerfall are overdue for a Wacken appearance, as are Evergrey-they haven't played since 2002.

I would really love to see Lacuna Coil too-they have elluded me for the past 3 years concentrating on touring USA during the summer

I'm afraid not even a German audience can stand Crematory.

A band that's long overdue is Sodom, btw. I hear they have a new album coming up, so maybe this year. Same goes for Bolt Thrower.

I know I am forgetting 1 or 2 but when you get very few good US tours or fests, this fest looks amazing already and they still have plenty to add.

I see that there are more bands I want to see this year than it was last year, but last year was ok too

Looking forward to Overkill, Suffocation, Gorefest, Dissection (I hope...), Accept, Obituary, Endstille, Marduk and Samael. I guess that's many bands soon soon in the billing - it looks like it's going to be a real busy Wacken if this continues!

one of the bests concerts i had ever been to!!
