well Thunderstone played last year - sorry

But yes, Crematory and Hammerfall are overdue for a Wacken appearance, as are Evergrey-they haven't played since 2002.

I would really love to see Lacuna Coil too-they have elluded me for the past 3 years :( concentrating on touring USA during the summer

I would also love to see Tarot and Charon

I'm afraid not even a German audience can stand Crematory.

A band that's long overdue is Sodom, btw. I hear they have a new album coming up, so maybe this year. Same goes for Bolt Thrower.

I already see enough bands to convince me that I should come. They are:

Dissection
Marduk
Ensiferum
Finntroll
Nightwish
Mercenary
Turisas
Gorefest
Obituary
Overkill
Suffocation

I know I am forgetting 1 or 2 but when you get very few good US tours or fests, this fest looks amazing already and they still have plenty to add.

I see that there are more bands I want to see this year than it was last year, but last year was ok too :)

Looking forward to Overkill, Suffocation, Gorefest, Dissection (I hope...), Accept, Obituary, Endstille, Marduk and Samael. I guess that's many bands soon soon in the billing - it looks like it's going to be a real busy Wacken if this continues!

For sheer cuteness I think I'll stick with the bearded guy in Torfrock.

fine, so there´s more Samael guys for me :p :D

So, did they play a lot of old stuff?

yes, but also a lot from the new album... great gig anyway! :)

I know the name but not the music.. haha

there's always earplugs, right? :p

hey, even Undo was at the gig and she liked them! So there´s probably a chance you´ll like them too :D
