yeah, I keep on seeing images from australia, doesn't look good.
but no flooding in your area yet right?

I haven't seen any of it myself but only because where I live and work is fairly high, so many roads have been cut, public transport cut/limited and I'm not game to go out just yet. I was home from work today and all you ever saw was continuous reports from the floods and reminders of another channel to switch to if you wanted to watch the tennis instead. It's meant to peek tomorrow with the high tide in the afternoon. My brother said the fruit shop he works at sold out of stuff and his boss will have to do a 200km round trip to the nearest market that isn't under water just to stock up for tomorrow.

Somehow I think the next time I go to one of my favourite clubs/pubs in town will be to help clean them out if they let me. On the plus side it looks like everyone I know is ok and heaps of them have offered their houses to people who need them and volunteered elsewhere. I'm seriously considering negotiating with my supervisors to take some sickies to help with the clean up.
