    Slayer headlining would make the wisest choice. They are not huge (Metallica, AC/DC, Maiden) and would fit perfectly since they also haven't played Wacken since 2001.

    that'a actually a good point, but it's a bit unfair to the people who live far away from Germany like me. I would like to know at least 50% of the bands that are playing the festival before buying my ticket because the whole trip would cost so much (plane tix, hotels, etc).
