That is a good thing to remember.

I'm more worried about the languague barrier and the issues that might cause.
Aslo, I'm pretty good at stressing out when it comes to travelling

nah I'm mostly thinking about ordering food and stuff like that.
But I get like this every time I'm traveling somewhere that I haven't been before.
I'll probably be fine by the time I'm checking in to the hotel.

Well, to make it (easier/) harder!
Japan does use English in every day life. The Romanic script proves it. (which is basically Latin, A, B, C etc. we use, if my info is correct)
However... it seems their proonounciation might be a bit different. Try to find "Jinglish" (or Jenglish, depending on the spelling) and you might see where a problem might evolve. But I reckon Tokyo adapts itself, with all tourists flocking in.

Just be well prepared! (Visa etc)
And I don't know if you can use your bank cards over there! But if you could in SA, you'd probably have no problems in Japan either.

You don't need a visa if you're leaving within 90 days again.
I'm bringing a bankcard and a creditcard, so that should be fine.
Both should work, just not everywhere.
Other than that, I just ordered a european to japanese plug so I can charge my phone over there.
I'll buy a temporary sim over there so I have data.
other than that I think I'm fine.

you can, but only a special kind that only lasts for 3 months.
