Ah, ok, I see what you mean right now.Yes of course people could charge it once, but it has nothing to do with paying every beer/food with it... If you use your bank account card with paypass/contactless you pay for what you're buying (ex. a beer for 4euro)
That's why I said the cashless card could be a good idea, you charge it and use it everytime you buy something without any more fees for every transactions.
But in the end I really don't mind carrying cash so it doesn't matter if they add that feature or terminals for CC/bank cards![]()

Well, since I'm kind of "binational", I want my cards to be set for Eurozone for the minimum (or better EU) but preferably worldwide. That's because I have both an account in Belgium (where I live) and in the Netherlands (where I used to live)!Thinking about it. the last time I was in germany my card wasn't accepted at the hotel even though it should have been working in the whole of europe.
So I called my bank and they changed something. after that I payed with my card everywhere without any problems.
As I'm regularly in the latter country, I don't want to end up with no money! Especially when I have money left in Belgium!
And even though it'way better than before, some places still don't accept MAESTRO payments (= inner EU payments by bank card)!
The same goes for Belgium btw.
Having said this, this should also mean I should be able to pay with it/them in Germany! (and I never had problems in both France and Luxemburg)
