Yup, saw that too. And airlines tend to overbook flights quite a lot... but what I've seen happening in those situations is them asking some passengers to stay until the next day. But not when they're already in the plane.

But the way this situation went is not acceptable at all. Hopefully they will suffer some consequences.

So the employees, were they even working on that flight? I guess not? Ridiculous behavior...

No they had to be on a different plane the next day. this was just so they could get to that plane.

Yeah it seems. But I understand. Lot of people fly alot so they could see themselves in that situation. And the way the airline handled it was insanely wrong. They basically assaulted the guy. He seemed disoriented after them banging his head..

I think he wasn't just disorientated, he seemed totally KO to me.

I heard that on the radio but I didn't see the video... That was pretty savage, they have no clue how to handle an overbooked flight. If they overbooked they should ask for volunteers, but if no one wants to get off the plane then they need to suffer the loss of money, move on and get their employees on another flight

Who cares about protocol if it's clearly flawed...
