europe is just so crowded. specially western europe.
whereever I look there's always a building "in the way".
When I was in south africa I could see the horizon pretty much all the time.

Yeah I get what you means, that's pretty much the main reason I heard too, too many people for the size of the territory.
In Canada it is the opposite, and that is what struck me the most when I went to Europe the first time. For exemple the size of apartments was ridiculous for the price people pay.

Come to Finland! Should be enough nature in here. At least if you go north a bit.
