we have an extra day off due to pentecost, and looks like we'll have about 18 degrees again from tomorrow onwards.

Not really, East coast weather is different of the prairies weather (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba).

that's crazy... I'm pretty sure that won't happen over here fortunately.
We're more on the other end of the spectrum... if a levee breaks there will be about 5 meters of water in town.
