As opposed to inpatients, which is the ward Basically it means I have to talk to people (most of whom I don't know) In my line of work, that means a greater possibility of dealing with/putting up with yelling and tears, related to things that are probably not my fault at all.

In my normal job, I hide inside a box inside a box inside a box (aka I'm on corporate office, so only other colleagues see me). I only talk to people in my building, doctors, occasionally other nurses/clinical staff, and the odd wrong number, so social interactions are infrequent. Therefore, most people know what they want/how to appropriately interact with co-staff to resolve any issues.

Bad news for everyone who has the plan of visiting me, and is coming by any means except own transportation.
As from now, I'm no longer allowed to take a guide for free on the train /bus/subway! This means you will have to pay for your own trip to wherever you want to go to.
I however, still got free rides.
