All these bands now cancelling gigs and even tours... Lamb of God was supposed to play in Helsinki next month with Children of Bodom but now they cancelled their whole tour. I don't understand what good cancelling those tours is gonna do...

Lamb of God has chosen to leave the tour due to security concerns in Europe. Our team has been working very hard to make all of the remaining shows happen. WE WANT TO, AND HAVE DECIDED TO, CONTINUE ON THE ROAD AND PLAY THE REST OF THE TOUR. Here is what we know so far.
Unfortunately the promoter has decided to move forward and cancel tonight's show in Oberhausen, Germany, and the additional shows in Germany.
At this time, the remaining schedule will move forward as this (we ARE looking to add more shows FYI):
22 Nov - Pratteln- Z7 Konzertfabrik
23 Nov – Lausanne- Les Docks
24 Nov – Milan- Alcatraz
26 Nov- TBD
29 Nov Brussels- Ancienne Belgique
01 Dec - Copenhagen- Amager Bio

Wonder what'll happen to those who bought a ticket just to see that band. Will they have a new chance to see them, or do they get a refund?

Well it can be a while until they come back, so I think they should get a refund. At this point I wouldn't be all that surprised if some bands that are supposed to come to Wacken would cancel.

Yes this just makes me mad. And on LoG facebook there are people agreeing with that cancelling.

We put ourselves in danger every day when we wake up. We can slip in the shower and hit our heads. We can get hit by a car. We can die in so many ways in our regular lives.

It's okay for all the bands that were in Bataclan on friday to cancel because of obvious reasons, but when other bands do that... I think it's just pathetic.

We can't change our way of life just because there is a possibility of an attack. As said, it's exactly what ISIS wants... They feed on peoples fear and death.

they lost 4 peoples of theyre crew/team...it would be strange when they do " bussines like usual".

i would go because of CoB ....i donˋt care about LoG...but i wonˋt go for concerts for a while.( Because of my surgery on monday)

Even if they didn't lose anyone... Maybe they got out immediately with no problem but still, they were there and they witnessed it. You will be affected with that kind of an event whether you want it or not.

Seems to be. Where I work that is definitely true. They are constantly cutting off hours. If for example in some kitchen there used to work two people for 8 hours, now there might be one working for 8 hours and one for 2-4 hours. It's stupid especially considering the fact that the job situation in Finland is bad.
