oh, yes...untill iˋve said my 5-part-greeting one minute is over...![]()
Haha, yep
Can we make bets on how many times we still get "is that you [insert another colleague's name]?" or "sorry, who's speaking?"

Haha, sadly no, but there was a high platform on the side so I easily saw over everyone.

Executive decided that we should all answer the phone the same way. My phone rings so infrequently that I have a hard enough time spitting out my own name, let alone a three-part greeting
How wonderful it would be if I could answer the phone with "yeah?" or "what?"![]()
over here saying who's answering the phone is the thing to do. if you don't it's considered extremely rude.
ah, that's always nice
you would love EMM than![]()

Yeah for me especially haha
What do you mean?![]()

I always answer the phone with "ja?" Typically Belgium, and I like it.
You'd love Eindhoven Metal Meeting. There's this big platform along the floor. If you find a decent place there, you can watch over all people .

you can stand on a higher part in the back so you can watch over the crowd

That is of course if it's anyone other than switchboard...most people don't want a lengthy conversation before getting to person they really want to talk to
if somebody calls and doesn't say his/her name and asks for a colleague right away I'll just hang up the phone (most of them are from the UK or america)
To be fair though, most of the time when they don't, it's because they call up that often that we no longer have to ask
*slap* i hate this...
