Turns out I probably heard gun shots and not fireworks on Saturday night. No wonder the emergency vehicles were going berko It made it to the news but apparently no-one died or was seriously injured (thankfully). Very unusual thing to happen this area.

We hear the ambulance sirens go all the time, but there's a lot of old people in the area, so if I hear the siren going, I usually just assume it's because someone has fallen or lived long enough
