Swedish is mandatory in Finland because Sweden ruled in here for a long time ages ago. English is also mandatory but you can choose to start it in 3rd grade or later, depending on if you start studying French or German or something. And also of course Finnish is mandatory, so yeah in here we have to study 3 different languages.

yeah they probably come from a swedish speaking area
though by "they" I mean the original members, of which non are in the band anymore I believe.

yeah could be. He also did the traditional sami singing which was pretty cool.
finntroll doesn't do that anymore, not even when they perform the old songs live, which is a shame
