dunno, it's just some of the paint at the front, but it'll probably still cost a lot....
yeah I guess so.

That's true, but in Germany, I'd just have to stare at a map or look a little stressed out and complete strangers would go out of their way to help me out. Then there's the festival experience...meeting people for the first time, maybe/maybe not even learning each other's names, and they're feeding me so much booze (also food) that they're literally tucking me into bed that night because I'm too fucked up to do it myself.

i make friends with people everywhere, but never come to know their names - even if they (happens very rarely) tell me, i tend to forgetThat's true, but in Germany, I'd just have to stare at a map or look a little stressed out and complete strangers would go out of their way to help me out. Maybe it's a different story for drunk or elderly Germans? All German friends I've made outside the WOA board approached me first with free booze, so![]()
Not a metal festival but there are couple bands I want to see. Also my friend is paying the ticket so I'm not complaining.
I'm actually also going to a festival here.. Well it's in Oulu, not Helsinki but still Finland. Not a metal festival but there are couple bands I want to see. Also my friend is paying the ticket so I'm not complaining.

Is it worth even the possibility of hearing damage?

And I'm only going to be there for one day.
I'm not sure what you meant by that but okay.
There aren't actually many metal festivals in Finland which is weird... Most are the kind that have many different music genres. The biggest metal festival we have is Tuska of course.
But the one I'm going to is Qstock. Main reason I'm going there is the fact my best friends brothers band, Santa Cruz, is playing there. It's the one that I've at some point linked here too.

Just kidding of course
I think i remember you sharing that band.

I beg to differ. I saw an other study saying the knowledge of English in Finland is not that bad, not good either! Number one would be the Dutch!
Lapin Kulta?I've heard about a popular Finnish beer, it cannot be kept too long! Don't know what kind of beer that was actually. I should look for it on the net, I reckon.
fluently speaking and acccentless speaking are two pairs of shoes (do they say so in english...? I just remember it in german, but think, i've heard it in english before...Really? I had no idea.Doesn't really sound like that. Not saying that my english is spectacular but I just hate way some Finns sound when speaking english.
you know that every beer can has a straw holder on it's opening piece (is there a word for it???One beer can and everyone drinking from it with straws. Yup.
)?you know that every beer can has a straw holder on it's opening piece (is there a word for it???)?
Most people don't know, but they have originally been designed as straw holders.

I didn't know it was designed for that but I know that some people use it for that. Drinking with a straw from a beer can just seems wrong though.![]()
