good morning...

:uff: uff.. tough morning :ugly:.. An annoying headache since 5 am :)

Tasted 8 beers yesterday :

Double Distorsion IPA (8.5% - 95 IBU) - Really good IPA, great bitterness
Sorachi Stout (6%) - Dry finish, meh
Saison Voatsiperifery (6%) - The pepper taste wasn't really there. It was funny because it tasted like the bubble gum flavor :). I liked it.
Saison Brett (7%) - Really dry, I guess this is typical with that yeast. Wasn't that great or i'm just not a great fan of Brett
Matiere Noire (8%) - Really good stout. Smooth, perfectly balanced.
Arcadia (5%) - Pale Ale and dry hopped with Citra - Wow! The smell of the citra hop was amazing. I will have to dry hop my beer with that!
Cacao Stout (6.6%) - Ok Stout, but too sweet for my taste.
Spécial B (9%) - Quadrupel. Brown almost black, really tasty just like trappist beer. Yummy.

All sample are 4oz but in average, my 12oz glass was always half filled. So, in reality, it was 6oz.

I will return on saturday but i will go with the easy stuff (pale ale and session) :)

I'm terribly bad in American sizes. :o
How much is 12oz?

Don't tell anyone, but he fills his air humidifier with vodka. :D

Proof:

Hahaha may need to try this :p

It most definitely will be higher because science :ugly: You won't even have to try very hard; just exist as a single foreign female and the work is done for you :p

I'm the same, plus I'm one of those "weird" people who really likes the sound of the German language. It never bothers me at all if my company just sits there speaking German to each other; usually later on someone will summarises the conversation if it was really funny :D

Hahaha im interested to see what being the "foreigner" will be like. An how little work you say there is. I like the German accent too :) its gumna be odd not knowing what people are saying.... an they can talk about me without me knowing :O oh noo!

Wait until you hear me talking. :ugly:

:D:D:D

Write it in both languages then! That way, I can maybe recognise it with my 10% vision!:ugly::D

Hahaha cant be that bad i just may get confused and giggle at times and just nod :p
hehehe! I may have too, but i may get some creeps coming over.

there's a local brewery in north germany, called störtebeker. they make some pretty nice beers, and alsways have new varies to offer.
this weekend i tasted one called "atlantic pale ale" which was strongly hopped with six or seven different hops... one of those was citra. the whole beer was a real funny experience - it had an unbelievable smooth and soft taste and a very remarkable taste of pineapple, lemon and grapefruit. plus a surprisingly bitter aftertaste, that's where the huge amount of hop showed through.:ugly:

i have no idea why i tagged this. wanted to say something, i presume, but forgot, what.

Wait until you hear me talking. :ugly:

you are excused. you speak what, 4, 5? languages more or less fluent. having accents in one of those isn't important at that rate.
Yeah, I always have better "luck" when I'm the foreigner :ugly: The gene pool in Wacken seems to be far superior too :D
foreigners... are exotic.... people like exotic things... plus the people on a festival have no restraints... :D

Nice but sometime, when using too many hops, the aroma/taste got lost. But yeah, I can imagine the bitterness :)

Why not? I could go to a country, and be treated as a local, even though I am not! (except in Belgium, where I'm a local, but they hear I'm a foreigner! :p )
I can also have me treeated as a foreigner, by just speaking English! And trust me, I have an native English accent. (not Brittish, I might add)

Exactly.

Oh, wait! Now I know what I'm doing wrong! *note for Hellfest* :ugly:

Literally exist, smile, listen and drink, I'm not even kidding :D Helps if you're caught walking around by yourself, but for some people, your having company is no barrier :ugly:

You'll know it when they talk to you; they'll look you square in the eye, but many of them will try English first in a place like Wacken ;)
