Yeah, I always have better "luck" when I'm the foreigner :ugly: The gene pool in Wacken seems to be far superior too :D

Hahaha the gene pool :p iv never been the "foreigner" so i dont know what my luck will be like. All i know is i get slightly mesmerised by all the accents and forget to listen to what there actually saying. :ugly:

There's a Dutch expression, saying: "Wat van ver komt, is lekkerder", meaning: what comes from far away, is nicer/tastier.

That says it all, I guess. :ugly:

.....you have no idea how much that made me laugh!!! Everyone stopped and looked at me. Maybe i should get a flag saying that bahahah!!!!! :ugly::ugly::ugly:

It most definitely will be higher because science :ugly: You won't even have to try very hard; just exist as a single foreign female and the work is done for you :p

I'm the same, plus I'm one of those "weird" people who really likes the sound of the German language. It never bothers me at all if my company just sits there speaking German to each other; usually later on someone will summarises the conversation if it was really funny :D

good morning...

:uff: uff.. tough morning :ugly:.. An annoying headache since 5 am :)

Tasted 8 beers yesterday :

Double Distorsion IPA (8.5% - 95 IBU) - Really good IPA, great bitterness
Sorachi Stout (6%) - Dry finish, meh
Saison Voatsiperifery (6%) - The pepper taste wasn't really there. It was funny because it tasted like the bubble gum flavor :). I liked it.
Saison Brett (7%) - Really dry, I guess this is typical with that yeast. Wasn't that great or i'm just not a great fan of Brett
Matiere Noire (8%) - Really good stout. Smooth, perfectly balanced.
Arcadia (5%) - Pale Ale and dry hopped with Citra - Wow! The smell of the citra hop was amazing. I will have to dry hop my beer with that!
Cacao Stout (6.6%) - Ok Stout, but too sweet for my taste.
Spécial B (9%) - Quadrupel. Brown almost black, really tasty just like trappist beer. Yummy.

All sample are 4oz but in average, my 12oz glass was always half filled. So, in reality, it was 6oz.

I will return on saturday but i will go with the easy stuff (pale ale and session) :)
