So excited!!!
Due to flight prices im flying to and from Bremen, Any recommendations of what to go do/see/eat/drink while there. Will be stopping in Hamburg over night before we fly home too, so any suggestions would be appreciated

Are you seriously thinking about staying an extra night in Bremen? That's not worth it! Take the tram from the airport to the main station and go directly to Hamburg. If time allows directly to Wacken actually.

All the while (except for the next month) I'll sit at home moping that I'm here and not there, and at the same time planning my next two trips over. I think maybe I can handle 10 years working at the same place and I really think I'd like to blow my 3 months of long service leave all at once

Depends on when you'll be in Hamburg. If on Sunday, it's not worh going to Wacken, you won't get in! Better go to Hamburg instead.

Bremen is boring. The best thing in Bremen to see, and to do, is to take the first train out of it.

Letztes jahr fand die Bahn es sogar so langweilig, dass sie Bremen nicht mal durch gingen, obwohl planmäßig vorausgesehen war dass der Zug von Köln nach Hamburg da halten soll. Lieber ging es über Hannover.
Diese Woche geht da sogar gar nichts mehr!
