I took a year of French in high school but can barely remember any of it.

5 years in high school (the Dutch equivalent) but forced to use on a daily basis. I live in Wallonia. French speaking part of Belgium.

I speak Chinese at home to my folks, but I doubt it'll help me in Wacken or the rest of Europe.
