I don't know why everyone is so into x-mas.

It's the time of the year I'd like to get passed by asap! Everyone being hypocrite, in saying: "LET'S MAKE PEACE!!!", and the next day it's like: "LET'S START A WAR (again)!"

Sorry, it's either all or nothing at all. In this case: nothing at all.

Well I just got through telling you why I'm so into Christmas We're not even pressured to go to church anymore Oh my! I failed to mention the once a year gingerbread decorating competition, work lunches/dinners and all the days off! This year I'm having 4 days off starting with Christmas Eve

I guess I should start getting my crap together. I have so much to fit in even before Saturday evening

Oh yes Christmas is good for many things:
New clothes for the year (apart from band shirts and emergencies I rarely buy my own clothes)
New DVD's
Surprise cool things
Family
Food
Almond bread
...and this particular ice-cream dessert thing that my dad makes but I forgot the name of it! It has a layer of chocolate ice-cream with rum-soaked raisins and a layer of vanilla ice-cream with glace cherries.

We 're a smal familly :my husband,his parents and me. Wie usualy have a Good,vegetarian dinner ( my mother in law ins a exellent cook)
Then we have a nice ,quit evening...eventually we watch a DVD. No big presents..just things like sweets or a bottle of wine or something that way...
and when IT is midnight they sing happy birthday for me. and that's it.

Christmas day I'll have dinner with my parents and sister
Boxing day (second christmas day) I'll have dinner at my best friends place.

No-one gets big gifts within my immediate family either, mostly because the rest of them have their birthdays in January
